I wouldn't buy any CCS charging EV. They will be obsolete in a few years. Home charging or CCS to NACS adapter only.

Tesla’s goal is (clean/sustainable) FSD so they consider all of the above as old tech. Also, Tesla’s software blows any CarPlay out of the water, so why junk up good software.

I ordered a Ford Bronco in 2020. I received it 16 months later with pretty much zero communication. I did get it at the quote price but I was one of the few. I ordered a Tesla MYP on 1/15 received it on 2/7 with communication the entire way and no worry of a price change.

You obviously didn't do the exercise, let me help. Hertz is reporting a 50-60% savings on maintenance alone. As you point out, they probably do the bare minimum at a wholesale cost. This doesn't even account for fuel. They have 100,000 Tesla's, that's a big sample size...

On a 60k+ EV, I’m not sure why anyone wouldn’t install a WC. Seems short sided, just install the ideal equipment. I did use 6/3 wire in case I ever need to change the WC out for different equipment.
