The Raven has a ton of improvements, especially the adaptive air suspension. I wouldn't even consider the 2018 with that available, and I own one! The only advantage is the warranty, so you'll have to decide how risk adverse you are. Enjoy!

I had it done on mine too, it has to be done by the techs. If I understand correctly, the newer struts have finer linear motors, and the ECU has to be programmed to a higher count. I'm pretty sure that can only be done with the equipment Tesla has.

To be clear, I didn't actually say that I thought autopilot was trying to follow the shadows. Although I think that's a possibility. I think it's more likely that a tight turn, combined with a shadow, which lessons resolution, could be the issue. It will be fun to follow! (Pun intended!)

I believe it's the shadow. It is amazing that they're still having problems with shadows and auto steer. They even had it with ap1! I've noticed it on my 2018 model X as well. The shadows will throw the thing off all the time!

In a teslarati article they say that the new software allows a one-time setting of charge limit. As we've been asking for this for many years, I was excited about it. Has anyone had a chance to try this yet? I'm on version 11.1 (2024.2.7), so maybe not applicable to me yet.

I have had my two different Tesla's turn on their cooling fans in the garage. Nowhere near close to the amount of heat put out by one of those big engines the catalytic converter etc. Not even in the same ballpark. Again, perhaps it makes a difference if you're in a hot climate.

Perhaps you've not lived in a hot climate with a large engineed vehicle. The stored thermal energy in the engine, transmission and exhaust system (catalytic converter in particular) really heats up the garage. And it smells like it too!
