So would the rears off the Performance work up front or are they too wide and cause turning issues? My son may be getting a Performance as well and we could just swap backs for fronts on one of them.

I'm at half-life on my M3LR OE tires with 19,300 driven so I'm fairly sedated for a Tesla owner.

Actually, how many miles could I get on those tires with normal rotations? Would stepping down to 19s and normal sidewalls yield more miles?

We decided not to wait for Juniper. We're getting ours next week and your idea is how we're going to proceed so thanks for recommending it. Yes it's extra money but it's the fastest solution and guarantees everything is new versus possible issues with someone else's tires and rims.

Maybe I'll just boost my M3LR until Juniper shows up. Anyone have some referral points they want to let me borrow? I'm good for it. 😁

I think it was in the Reddit forums where I saw that rotations are very rare in Europe. I forgot if it was based on more cars being staggered or that it's just not a common thing. Maybe someone can chime in who knows.

For the MYP, maybe even a hair faster than 3.5/secs with 19s instead of 21s.

With my driving style, I don't mind having those features if that's the way it comes but, I wouldn't care if those were less functional with the standard 19s. Plenty of MYP owners here have done the switch and said nothing really changed for them. Based on that, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't notice...

True! They charge $2000 for the full set when you opt for them on the LR so I wonder if two would be half price or are they gonna charge more ordering after the fact.

They do look the best but I like the look of more cash in my wallet too. I'll sacrifice the staggered look for longer wear and less expensive 19s. I will keep the Uber style as those make the car. Well, unless Juniper team decides to change the style.

Plus, we'll purposely keep the car in the garage to keep the miles low. The wife didn't want to sell it and not have a 2nd car but we're gonna pretend it's not there except to drive it just a little bit to keep the tires from flat-spotting and the electricity from getting old. 😁
