If you're really paranoid, get a proper dashcam. The Tesla implementation really isn't reliable enough for my liking. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. In my experience anyway.

Punctures are only allowed to be repaired in the central 3/4ths of the tread, where the tread is thickest. From your picture, I think you are unlikely to get a repair done.

No USS is probably the thing you might miss the most. Otherwise, same niggles you're used to - phantom braking, indecisive AP, software updates focused on gaming rather than driving experience etc. etc.

That would work well for me. Some passengers like it hot, others freezing (to my mind). And some just can't get their brain to work out the seat controls. NO PUSH THE WHOLE BUTTON BACK, NOT UP AND DOWN!

Isn't the battery sealed against moisture ingress? Surely got to be a seal failure somewhere. But worrying if this turns out to be the case. How it could be the fault of the driver is beyond me.

Same bit dropped out of mine just after I bought it. I took the mirror apart, found the plastic holder for it had broken, never bothered to put it back, and had no trouble since. So just forget it!

Me too. I find they don't always appear automatically - just swipe up from the bottom and they are there. Not a new "thing" - they've disappeared from my screen randomly for some time.

If you get a local handyman to do this, make sure they use the right kit. The guy who did mine just bent cheapo mesh under the rims of the panels - 2 years later, the pigeons had managed to rip a section out. Got the right stuff fitted now. What do they say? Buy cheap, buy twice. Beware.

I usually find it easier and cheaper to use the included breakdown service with my insurance renewal. This probably won't help you now, but I've had good service in the past with Green Flag and the AA.
