    Supercharger - Mathis, TX

Wow. I guess they had already broken ground 2 weeks ago. That’s interesting - one charging post is offset.

    Supercharger - Mathis, TX

Awesome! This will change my route. I will head here instead of Alice. I was already jumping from Alice to Mathis to get on I-37 earlier because I got really tired of US281 between Alice and the Three Rivers supercharger.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I just record that it reached end of navigation. No way to end other than disengage AFAIK as FSD keeps trying do do something, aimlessly wandering around at times.
  4. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

We have plenty of high density city around here where I experience most of the driving. Not rural. I mentioned chill because many folks mentioned ASSO on or other settings. I have ASSO off. Also over the past month I have driven off interstate in several large urban areas and some very crowded...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Specifically speeding up to the limit and maintaining it exactly is what I experience on non-interstate driving, around town etc., so definitely V12. I have experienced several other V12 quirks but not the routinely driving under the detected speed limit.
  6. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I experienced this lack of slowdown more than a couple of mph many times on two-lane rural highways going through small towns on our recent long road trip. Even though the car read and displayed the lower speed limit. Very frustrating. I always had to disengage by braking, I was indeed worried...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Interesting, I’ve been on chill the whole time but I’ve never experienced the drive under the speed limit phenomenon. It pretty much zips up to the posted limit and maintains it exactly.
  8. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I haven’t had to apply slight torque to the yoke since FSDS - those nags just went away. Before FSD I was often nagged to apply some pressure on long straight stretches even though my hands were on the yoke.
  9. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I had many situations on a recent long trip where I found the navigation instructions confusing but the car knew exactly where to go and which lane to get into to get back on the interstate. I am looking around but not everywhere all at once. In any given instant the car sees far more than I...
  10. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

That’s the niggly fiddley annoying part for me so I’m delighted to supervise the car doing all those bits instead. Especially all the watching of surroundings, other vehicles, people, etc. And finding the way/knowing how to interpret the navigation, which lane etc., in unfamiliar surroundings-...
  11. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Because the car does most of the work.
  12. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Yep, FSD definitely lets cars in - very polite. Most of the time it’s fine but I’m careful and I have closed the gap a couple of times when I didn’t think it was safe using a little pressure on the accelerator. I’ve also experienced the not blocking an intersection behavior.
  13. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

This was driving me crazy! I always had to brake and thus disengage. I already have AutoMax off, never turned it on. FSD just refuses to slow more than a couple miles an hour from 55 entering a small town. It displays the correct lower speed limit immediately. Dialing down thumbwheel has no...
  14. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

12.3.4 routinely ignored speed limit signs above 55 on any other than a divided highway.

Supercharger - Lubbock, TX - University Ave (Target)

The whole thing has been quite bizarre. I’m pretty sure they dropped some of the planned contract jobs. The $500M might just cover what they are completing this year (ground already broken worldwide), I really have no idea. The first news was so shocking as there are many permitted, planned...

    Supercharger - Three Rivers, Tx

Expansion! They look to be adding more charging posts extending around the curve from the existing chargers same layout. Signs were going in. Sorry I should have taken a photo.
  17. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

It’s very odd for me. Sometimes it slows reasonably quickly and even ahead of the lower speed limit sign at times. This seems to be mostly residential neighborhoods. Other times it takes way too long to slow and I occasionally disengage to slow. Quite unpredictable.
  18. AudreyHTX1

Supercharger - San Antonio, TX - West Loop 1604 N

Wow! Unbelievable! Regardless we enjoyed using the new Rim V3 supercharger (Worth Parkway)
  19. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I first had this (both - ignoring 65mph and reading lower speed limit signs like 45, 35, etc. but not actually slowing down) happen to me yesterday after driving ~ 1500 miles without a problem. It seems to be map data specific. It occurred over about a 50 mile length but magically cleared up...

    Supercharger - Uvalde, TX

    Fantastic!
  21. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Socorro, NM

That’s right. Most of the stations we visited these past two weeks have had their tire stops removed. Only two still had them. Your photo looks correct to me in terms of the location of the tire stops.
  22. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Clayton, NM

Wow, you’re returning much later than most folks. Most had cleared out after the 10th as you could see from charger usage maps. Maybe you returned last week too and are just now posting.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

We've been driving 12.3.4 for several days in Sedona. It's been doing super well with the heavy car and tourist traffic. Tons of roundabouts one after the other including several double lane roundabouts. Handles flawlessly in most cases. Only twice out of 20+ have I had to "encourage" entrance...

Supercharger - El Paso, TX - Eastlake Blvd

Finally visited this convenient charging location. It had been marked as “Temporary Closure” all morning and NAV was warning us with a big red banner about having it in our route. I finally switched the position with the Starbucks location as it was a convenient stop before heading around El...

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

Finally made it to the long awaited location. We had it all to ourselves! You’re not kidding about scrapers on 14th St (the access road). Ave F just before Sonic (westbound) was fine and a good way to access the parking lot. But roads west of there had really steep drops off of 14th St and...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Funnily, 3rd drive I accidentally disengaged FSD several times by not releasing the yoke fast enough. I didn’t have this trouble the first two drives. I think I’m regressing.
  27. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Robstown, TX

I’m never surprised to see extended dates on permits. Nor rely on them for actual start or completion dates. Until there is an actual start of construction it’s all vaporware as far as I’m concerned.
  28. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Robstown, TX

It can take as little as two weeks with the pre-fab unit, and sometimes months. A year is unusual, but not unheard of. Often a month maybe two to actually install the supercharger. But then power connection is a real wildcard. There can be serious delays with the power company providing the...

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

Yeah, still a 5 min wait and the old one with only 6 stalls, and Ft. Stockton is still experiencing a wait. People are traveling late!
  30. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Kenedy, TX

Wow! We’ll have to see if this one gets its transformer before Converse does.
  31. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

Wow, just in time for you!
  32. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

Yeah, I vote for Roswell! At least we now have alternating V2s and V3s for a long 1-10 stretch. San Antonio at Fort Worth Pkwy V3, Junction V2, Ozona V3, Fort Stockton V2, Van Horn V3, and now also V3s El Paso and Las Cruces.
  33. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I’ve been in Chill the whole time with auto set speed offset off and the car goes (quickly) to the speed limit and stays there.
  34. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

Wow! Seriously? This is fabulous news and thanks for checking and posting! We will check it out before too long.
  35. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

It’s all about expectations. Anecdotal: We’re first time FSD users. Husband thought we should not bother with the v11 stack so we’ve been waiting for v12 to rent occasionally. Husband has been following the progress in detail and when we conveniently got this free trial I did some reading and...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

It’s one of those short entrance/exits where as the interstate rises into an overpass you enter/exit at the top. This type of enter exit lane is short and you don’t have much time to exchange with incoming traffic. FSD was signaling and preparing to get into the lane and exit, but then decided...
  37. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

FSD had already turned on the turn signal as it approached the exit. Two days ago FSD handled the same exit perfectly.
  38. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

FSD 12.3.3 had difficulty exiting from the interstate today. It got up the exit ramp at an overpass so a short exit window, and instead of moving forward it to exit ahead of the oncoming traffic, it slowed to let a slower entering truck on close in front, then it hesitated and turned off the...

    Model X: Average Wh/mile Tracker

The energy graph will show you how much was used for a given leg. That graph is quite informative. I think for us the effect of AC was small even driving in the desert summer heat. Headwinds and speed had the biggest impact. Our long distance driving usually is during hot months.
  40. AudreyHTX1

    Model X: Average Wh/mile Tracker

Don’t forget to set Trip B to a name like Forever and never reset it. We’re at 299 Wh/mi now in our 2022 X LR but it took ~18 months, 17,000 miles to get there. Started out much much higher.
  41. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Down here in way south Texas FSDS did very well in spite of not having that many Teslas compared to some other parts of the state.
  42. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Durango, CO

I assume thats for the power feed. Pretty important! And sometimes happens late.
  43. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

It’s just a matter of a day or two I think. Not long.
  44. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Ozona, TX - 14th St

Thanks. Too bad! But wouldn’t we see it in the app or car nav shortly after it’s turned on? Now that construction is complete.
  45. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I have a Model X 2022 refresh with USS. I got FSD 12.3.3 on Sunday with regular software update 12.3.10.
  46. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Post, TX

Well my car easily makes it from Sweetwater to Lubbock so I’m not surprised that Post wasn’t originally assigned. I usually add my preferred chargers to a given route anyway.
  47. AudreyHTX1

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I finally had my first FSD try a couple of cross town errands on familiar routes. I’m running FSD 12.3.3. It did amazingly well. Fairly complicated in town routes plus some interstate segments. Some unmarked roads. Several railroad crossings. Lots of traffic lights and plenty of traffic. It...

    Supercharger - Post, TX

I’m in the car now. The supercharger is shown there (8 stalls available) but wasn’t automatically assigned on my imaginary NAV route to Lubbock. However I was able to add it to the route.
  49. AudreyHTX1

    Supercharger - Post, TX

Sorry, that was for Mercedes TX. I’m not seeing Post TX in the app.
