Can confirm the same. After the hepa filter installation i never smelled the smell again, even during rain season.

Yes some kind of double filtration. At least on my MY which i got the Hepa filters through the retrofit program. Such a big difference in air quality

As long as recirculation is off, all air that the hvac system pulls is going to go through the hepa filter.

Had minor paint issues when I got mine in 2021. 60k miles and 3 years later i got many more paint issues mostly made by regular driving and one oopsie i made while installing a bike rack. Those “issues” you are mentioning won’t be relevant. Enjoy the new car!

I have location based auto fold and it never fails. Folds as i pull up to the driveway and auto opens the garage door. Unfolds as i drive maybe 30 feet away and auto closes garage door. Very consistent especially with the new update with continuous connectivity.

The fact that the first few days was only when turning left but now its both ways makes me think it might not be the ball joints. The noise comes from the same spot somewhere to the left of the steering wheel column. Might try to spray some silicone in the rubber gasket down there and check.

No matter how dark you go on the windshield, it’s night and day difference. My brother’s 23 MYLR doesn’t have the windshield tinted and you can immediately feel the difference.

My guess is the performance model of this highland variant will be the cherry on top. For the LR, Tesla hopefully introduces something like the Acceleration Boost package and open up the too speed a little more.

I have 70% in windshield, 35% in front and 50% on rears. I wouldn’t go any lower than 30% for front sides. 50% on hatch is pretty dark but not that we can see much on day time through that tiny window anyway. As far as i know the factory tint is around %20

My steering wheel started to creak when turning left at low speeds. Started a few days ago when the freezing temperatures started. Anyone had a similar issue? Most i can find online is either upper control arm bushing failing or steering motor failing.

I guess they changed prices since I bought it. I was able to get the gen 2 commander with two sexy buttons for $180.

While i do think $40k for a M3P is a good deal I would rather pay $5k more for the upgrades. New suspension, quieter cabin and all other upgrades are well worth it imo. Truly it would depend on each individual though.

if you look at the earn section there's no option for the Model 3 so my guess is they are not doing it yet.

Could have bought the s3xy buttons for same price. Their new gen 2 dongle is much better. I have it set to deactivate wipers and high beams on AP. It’s awesome now

Yes the gen 2 buttons have a distinct more tactile click than gen 1. Also the box is marked as gen 2 buttons. The commander is also different shape from gen 1. So far no complaints with any of the functions. Everything works flawlessly without delay. Very impressive

I just received the gen 2 commander and buttons. The new harness has a little connector that i don’t know what it’s for? The tactile buttons feel a lot better imo

As awful as that sounds, the defect itself doesn’t look significant as others have said. Give it a few weeks and you’ll probably forget. Most people won’t even notice it ever. You’re bound to get bigger blemishes from normal driving if you don’t have ppf

When i got mine delivered it came with a little scratch in the bumper. Their solution was to replace the bumper witb a new. Maybe you should suggest that

Judging by my calculations it should fit. No issues in the rear. The front is the problem but i think it should fit. Worse case just take it to a tire shop and have them test fit it. Worse case you’ll be down about $30

Maybe you should carry a replacement in the trunk just in case

No car in the market will ever be perfect for any user unless its a truly 10% custom car. Taking that into account, the MY is a pretty good all around car for many people
