    Cybertruck spotted in Sydney

Correct, no one is saying you have to. There is also no requirement for an endless pile on.

    Cybertruck spotted in Sydney

Not sure about that but there is an element of "I don't want one so I am going to rubbish it endlessly". Yes, we all get that some people don't like the CT. Time to move on. It is a bit as though people are being forced to buy one.
  3. RareEarth

    Cybertruck spotted in Sydney

It's a bit like "sources have revealed" or "our snap poll suggests". Anyway, I still hope I am allowed to purchase a CT. It won't look like this though:

    Cybertruck spotted in Sydney

Would rather have an electron guzzling truck that I can charge at home on solar than a six litre dinosaur juice slurping glorified tractor that requires an extra oil shipment from some war torn nation run by a despot every time I want to fill up. Over 2,000 RAM / F150 / Silverado trucks sold in...

How do you listen to music?

SSD as well. On long trips someone pickets a letter and we play all the songs starting with that letter. Depending on the letter it can take some time! Also use internet radio a lot.

EV Community funded DC charger is operational

Great job. The Ravensthorpe Western Power saga reminds me of the Cooma Chargefox debacle. 244km to Lake Grace from Munglinup also doable.

    Supercharger - Hay, NSW

Was there yesterday on our way back from Lake Mungo, the construction guys said 'a month or two' to finish it. 6 stalls. Short walk up to the bakery / cafe / conveniences.

What is being called out here specifically is media bs. Whether the article's author was/is a fan of a particular company is irrelevant. Whether there are other articles / youtube videos with opinions about said product is irrelevant.

Everything Electric Sydney (February 9-10-11, 2024)

Ref the mower, that was in 'Electric Alley', no one was there to give any info on what was on display. There was also an electric Polaris. No F150 Lightning though. TOCA stand was busy, M3 Highland was there. Talked to one of the NRMA people about the charger in the displayed roadside assistance...

Just got my renewal for the X - total premium $14 lower than last year (CBA Insurance provided by Hollard). Mind you they still want $3800. No events this year. Shop around time I think.

Round Australia List! (put your name down if keen / serious)

Yes that is a ripper. Yuendumu to Halls Creek 785km, bit of a stretch. Also corrugations that can make your car rattle in places you've never heard it rattle before.

Is it illegal to speed to the speed limit from the traffic lights when the signal turns green?

Still get the odd fossil driver who wants to have a go at the lights, it is still amusing. Most of them nowadays seem to be in modified utes, perhaps law enforcement could worry more about the copious clouds of unburnt fuel pouring from their oversized exhausts.

    Cybertruck Waiting Room - Australia

I have an order in for a CT. If it comes to Australia I will get one. If it doesn't then obviously I won't. Not losing any sleep over it. Its very existence seems to be upsetting some people. I for one expect it will do very well. If it replaces some of the Fseries / Silverado / RAM guzzlers...

Indeed, was in Port Augusta yesterday, the chargers were being installed down near the wharf, near Woolworths. Shout out for the new charger installed at Cobargo NSW, next to the Co-op. Used it the other day, got 17kW on the X. Rate is 40c/kWh, worked first time with the Chargefox RFID. Cables are attached to the charger. There is also one now in Bermagui at Fishermen's Wharf. So when you are in the area...

    Supercharger - Wagga Wagga, NSW

Heading east say to Sydney one could skip the Gundagai SC (a busy SC with its attached Olivers swamp) and head straight to Goulburn. Or go straight to Canberra also bypassing Gundagai. Supercharger - Gawler, SA - Q2 2023

Planning laws need to change to make the process immune from small town politics and anti EV bias. EV charger networks of all varieties need to be classed as nationally important infrastructure. These networks will in future be supporting a fair slice of the nation's transport fleet, not just cars.

Yes It would be nice if some of those sites were operational by then but not holding my breathe.
