Are you saying that initiating summon locks the car? Because I don't lock it prior to the summon.

I have "leave unlocked at home" set on my S and it works fine in my driveway. However, I summon my car into my 1 car garage and the car remains locked after the summon and shutting down. Am I missing a setting, anyone else experience this?

Yep, it is those inaccuracies that prompted my original question, I'd like to be able to trust my car as much as I trust ABRP. I have a 75 battery so not as blase about the range as many others.

Minor complaint perhaps but I dislike that I cannot see the seat heater setting easily. The seat heater maintains it's settings after car is turned off so it remains on when I get in the car the next morning. I only remember to turn it off when my butt gets hot.

Tesla ended up replacing the connectivity card part # 1521914-s2-b several weeks ago and I've not had a problem since. I assume this card was installed with my MCU2 upgrade but I don't know for sure. Tesla did not charge me for it.

With my '16 S75 I have never had the car charge faster than predicted, always slower. I don't pay any attention to the predictions any more.

It seems we've gotten off track of the OP's point, that Tesla wants $22k for a replacement battery while the cost of batteries is dropping. The advice to seek out Rich Rebuilds is good, and hopefully other independent companies will fill this likely expanding market as more of us are in OP's shoes.
