I am retired and was a State Farm Agent and Real Estate Broker just outside of San Francisco in Half Moon Bay, CA. We moved to Colorado and I started/owned a car service driving for the Sports Teams in Denver till my retirement in 2018. I've always been a combustion engine guy till we walked into our local Tesla Dealer a couple weeks ago and test drove the Model 3 and Model Y. We loved the Model Y and paid our $250. on the spot. We chose the Long Range, chose our color, Stealth Gray with black & white interior, stayed with the 19" Gemini rims and the next day wired the money and set up our delivery for that afternoon. The rest is history and we've only had it 9 days and just like my Mercedes I sold, I don't drive 5,000 miles per year, lolol. We still have a Lexus 2017 ISF with 20,000 miles on it which my wife drives when she isn't flying for business. She now is considering a Model 3 for herself? We love the Y and I'm learning more and more about it day by day. I haven't tried Autopilot yet, but will this week on a little road trip. I ordered the new Tesla charger, am having it hardwired 240v w/60A to the charger on Tuesday and the rest is history, lolol.
