    Service

Any one know of any reliable service centres that are not ran by Tesla themselves? In the last 3 years I’ve found Tesla’s official service to be less than average in regards to its quality. Say you have an issue with a plastic trim on the door and they can’t provide you with a service date as...

    Fixed spoiler

    Yep

    Fixed spoiler

The spoiler was bought as new with the car from Tesla.

    Fixed spoiler

Hi I’ve requested a quotation for a replacement fixed spoiler on My Model X which Tesla initially quoted for and accepted. Not that much wrong with it but corrosion setting in so I was happy to buy a new one and have them install it. Soon after me accepting Tesla’s quote they cancelled the...

"Air suspension compressor disabled" to be fixed in software update?

Hmm I wonder how many have spent $$ replacing suspension, only to find problem persists after, and it was this all along.

"Air suspension compressor disabled" to be fixed in software update?

That would be fine, and I’m glad you’ve mentioned that….but Tesla have never once mentioned that to me regarding my issue. All they have said is swap the entire suspension system. Turns out that, in my case at least, waiting until the weather got a bit warmer fixed it. The remote diagnosis they...

"Air suspension compressor disabled" to be fixed in software update?

They’ve picked a trick up from the likes of Dacia. Swap the entire lot and it solves the issue. Every quote I’ve had from Tesla says as much..they over quote on parts and say they will alter the difference if parts aren’t used (Never happens except for washers and fixings 🤣) That’s why it’s...

"Air suspension compressor disabled" to be fixed in software update?

Yep. They don’t repair anything. Just switch them up. Most errors are software based and they won’t solve individual software issues.

Sub Par Service Experience @ Tesla Renton (Seattle)

My issue was the wording of the advice really. This is the update I was provided in December….initially going in in June and accepting the advice. As it wasn’t solved in that time I was basically asked to monitor the fault, whilst driving, and knowingly putting my family in the seats with the...

Sub Par Service Experience @ Tesla Renton (Seattle)

I bought a Tesla and think it’s a great car. You’ve had 3 issues that have had to be replaced

Sub Par Service Experience @ Tesla Renton (Seattle)

It’s a shame as the tech and service was what made me forego build quality issues, but the service has become that lax that it can’t mask the other disappointments now. Their tune changes from car to car with lies also. I had a charge port latching issue in which the full unit was replaced on my...

Sub Par Service Experience @ Tesla Renton (Seattle)

I posted elsewhere about a, in my opinion, major safety issue that I was advised to disregard as a firmware problem. Happens frequently and makes me concerned to drive it and I’m only doing because I need to and they have told me to. My issue with that is they couldn’t tell me how I was supposed...

Sub Par Service Experience @ Tesla Renton (Seattle)

As a UK owner i can confirm that service has been less than sub-par on my 3, then my Model S and now my Model X. My latest issue was caused by Tesla directly but it’s left to me to interrupt my Christmas holiday to take the car 70 miles away to be rectified. I am getting to the point where if...

"Air suspension compressor disabled" to be fixed in software update?

Nope, I got an update yesterday. Regular bug fixes from the holiday update. Did notice my seatbelt error more yesterday though. These errors won’t get fixed, I guarantee it. I genuinely considered selling the car yesterday after the error popped up. I know they told me to ignore the messages but...

"Air suspension compressor disabled" to be fixed in software update?

It’s crazy. I asked for it in writing from them that they are specifically telling me to ignore the seatbelt restraint warning (that tells me to contact service) and to proceed as if there are no issues. Once I spelled out the pitfalls in that advice they simply had no idea what to say and said...
