    Rear Control Arm Replacement

No, don't do that.... when it's still on jack stands, put a jack under the upright and jack it up. You may lift it off the closest jackstand a bit, but thats OK. With the upright jacked up, then tighten and torque it down.

Sun Roof Glass replaced /different color ??

Did you have an 18/early19 model year car?

    255/40 on 19x9.5 +35

265/35 is the perfect fitment for a 9.5" rim. The 245/40 has some stretch and regardless of the tire, it leaves the rim exposed to being damaged.

    Long time lurker, 1st Accident

Just remember, you've got video of the entire event, for better or worse.

Fixing outer shoulder tire chunking: Bridgestone RE-71RS's, Michelin PS4S's, or camber?

On a Model 3, top hats won't help with camber. You would need FUCAs for that.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

Here's a pretty square rim/tire combo, yet you can see just how much it still moves. I can only image how bad it is on a pinched tire.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

As a point of comparison for the pics from Dallas, here's 295/35 on a set of the same 11" rim. These are RE71RS vs his A052s.

How and when is the Tesla-brand service worth it? Do outside services affect the warranty?

When you eventually crack your windshield, it's either Safelite or Tesla. I got quoted by both and for me, it was cheaper to go thru tesla. BUT... Tesla doesn't go thru insurance so you pay out if pocket and get reimbursed from insurance. If any of the other glass cracks, you have to use Tesla...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

Ah, didn't realize the REs dont come 295s in 19s. And for the record, RE 295s are almost perfectly square on an 11" rim, so you'll get a bit of stretch with a 285.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

    I'd go 295s on the 11" rims.

The quest for wider wheels and tires, 295, 305 and beyond...

I'll throw thus out fir the discussion... Stock classes have max rim width criteria, so it's not uncommon to see them with comically wider tires than rims. I would think they've been there, done that, with finding what works and what doesn't over the decades (ES miata) The fact that the keep...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

This upcoming tour at Crows should be a bit better. Good drivers in AS and Navid will be a good driver to watch to see how the car does in class, don't know about the other 2. Dallas, with all his custom SSB suspension bits, will be in XA with his wife. I'll be in there too, since running...

    wedsport 18x9.5?

You'll need/want to get spacers. 20mm f/ 25mm r probably. The barrel may or may not fit otherwise.

I have a 2022 model 3 dual motor. At 8k I had tires rotated. Yesterday took car in to have tires rotated again at 17k do I need to have an alignment?

Lol. The only adjustments to camber and caster is playing with the slop/stacking tolerances. Which is exactly what the manual shows, and is very minimal. To get any meaningful camber or caster changes, you'll need to go to the aftermarket for solutions.
