    Dashcam unavailable check usb drive

I got the same info when I put in a service request. My wife's car has 2024.14 and still has the issue however. I'm hoping perhaps one of the newer updates in 2024.14 will fix it.

    Fleet API command/navigation_request endpoint

I'd love to know because all of the apps I've used that supported that capability no longer do. It's frustrating because I had an iOS shortcut that sent a location to two cars when my wife and I had to go to the same place. Even just sending to my car was a pain because I have 4 on my account...

Weird Road Trip Problem: bad arrival percentages!

My suggestion - if it's over 2%, stick with it. I prefer to get to a SC at 1-5%. 8% is good. 20% is overkill. Too conservative.

    Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

Going by Elon's response later, it's not NONE. It's slowing down expansion, and focus on expansion of existing sites.

    Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

I am also alarmed by Musk firing the whole team. However it's ironic to see everyone on here be so dramatically emotional and blaming Musk for the same thing. Look - we don't know what's next. Musk has made highly questionable decisions in the past that have panned out in the end. It may be...

Tesla App Misidentifying Car Charging as Home Usage

From my understanding… the raw data in Tesla's API does not differentiate between car charging and home usage. The Tesla app does some of it's own math/shenanigans to show you the two separately, but it doesn't always work. So your comment about it being an algorithmic thing is correct. So...

Charge on Solar enabled... how to override and charge from grid when needed without disabling Charge on Solar first?

Yeah, i disabled COS a week ago because we had some snow/rain storms and now it's gone and I wanted to re-enable it this week. Sucks.

A relatively successful drive from California to Texas and back

Childress is not my favorite SC. But it looks like you did well! In all my road trips, I think I've only had to wait once over the years. The eclipse was a special event. 32ºF is nothing for a SC - when it gets down to -10, -15ºF - then you might see some slowdowns and issues.

Powerwall 3 set to 45% backup reserve, at 43% now

As others have said, batteries are not so accurate that a few % off is meaningful. It's all relative to what the battery management system thinks each 1% is worth. It's normal for it to be 2-3% off. That and the fact it will use some for it's own operation as someone else said.

    Netzero App

Is that why I had a couple notifications recently of my "stopped charging" automation running even though no charging had occurred in recent days?

    Netzero App

I was considering adding Emporia Vue because of NetZero. Just not a priority yet - but maybe at some point this year. Funny - I thought I recall seeing the Emporia stuff in the app, but now I can't find it. Part of my hesitance is I don't know what I really need to buy for Emporia. I've got 2...

    Netzero App

Just found out - it works with a Logitech external mouse, but does not work with my touchpad on the MacBook.

What is the long term support mechanism for NetZero? How do you plan to keep this going from a cost perspective?

    Questions about Solar+Powerwall3+Two Model Ys

Tesla Energy operates in markets, meaning that different rules fall in different markets. At least for ME in Colorado, I got mine in the garage. And yes, it was a long run - but I wanted it there. Most of the other installs I've seen in the past 2 months have also been in the garage here.

    Questions about Solar+Powerwall3+Two Model Ys

We rarely get outages…but when we do, it's for awhile. So the PW for me - a huge expense - was worth it because it gives me the backup I need, but also the ability to manipulate our power usage from the grid to help lower costs. If I didn't have TOU today, I'd consider it an investment for the...
