FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I've had similar disengagements in the past along this same line as well. I've had many rigs gear brake on the highway to slow down - especially in heavy/slow traffic - FSD has always had challenges when it doesn't see brake lights - which is not uncommon with rigs or manual transmission cars...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Yeah - except in a number of northeastern states - this is literally illegal - as there are highway signs clearly stating to stay out of the left lane unless you are passing. In MD state, I've literally seen people pulled over by police for this issue alone. No logic should be staying in the...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

All good points. I've actually noticed an uptake in hitting the go pedal since I've always got ASSO enabled. I'm often hitting the go pedal - likely several times each trip - whether around town or a longer road trips - as FSD is still too timid/shy in many circumstances- especially when...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I suppose that's feasible - but it would require a certain level of network connectivity to allow remote control and camera displays coming from the robotaxi - I also have no idea about the legalities/approvals that may be involved for this type of thing.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

There's already a FSD(Unsupervised) build in testing by Tesla - this is likely what will be officially announced on 8/8. My theory is that FSD(U)/FSDU will be the first L3 version. It won't be L4/L5. The manned robotaxi network will use the FSDU version - the driver is only there to take over...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I have used prior FSD versions as well - 11.x all the way up to 11.4.9 for quite a number of FSD miles last year, so I am comparing it against both the prior version and against the human driving element, at least for my part. That wasn't my point really - my point is - fresh perspective is...

Ah - that makes more sense! That's why we have emoticons as well! ;)

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I think it's worth pointing out that while past experience matters, it doesn't matter as much within the context of an entirely new FSD v12 build that was a complete rewrite from the ground up that uses a completely different AI end-to-end approach (at least for city streets) when compared to...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I'm on 2024.3.25 FSD 12.3.6 and I have Netflix - we just used it over the weekend in our 2023 MY LR while waiting in a parking lot for a concert venue to start letting folks in. So I'm in the early adopter FSD branch basically. Are you saying you don't have Netflix on the 2024.3.x branch? I'm...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

In at least half of the cases - the right hand lane was free of traffic - that's why the aggressive driver behind me was passing both our car and the lead car ahead of me via the right lane.

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Thanks. I may perform a camera recalibration this weekend before we leave for a long 600 mile each way two week road trip, during which I plan to use FSDS quite a bit to aid with driver fatigue. I did a camera recal when 12.x was first released earlier this year, but I'm certainly willing to...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

Granted, maybe not illegal - but that same area also has a bike lane that forms once the right lane separates out - it may actually be a double line - I'll have to pay closer attention next time to be sure. Either way - point being - FSDS should not have moved into a lane ending in the first...

FSD v12.x (end to end AI)

I've probably logged about 1000 miles using the various FSD v12 versions to date (started with 12.2.3, 12.3.2.1, 12.3.4, currently on 12.3.6). Local errands around town almost daily, along with several road trips consisting of 2-2.5 hours each way (115-140 miles each way). Here's what I've...

    Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

They can, just as V3 stalls can, but not by default. Its unlikely they will here in the US as long as the NACS standard agreements in place aren’t rescinded for any reason. The solution that almost all manufacturers are embracing is to provide DC adapters, which eliminates the need for Magic Dock.

    Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

Yes - they are Tesla stalls - what else would they use?
